Home Retrofit Planner – An Introduction

28th September, 6:00 pm8:00 pm

An introduction to our Home Retrofit Planner assessment and planning tool with Marianne Heaslip, URBED.

This two hour webinar will give an insight into Home Retrofit Planner (previously called My Home Energy Planner). Based on SAP (with modifications) this planning tool has been developed over the last decade by URBED and Carbon Co-op to help homeowners plan their retrofit projects.

The tool as well as considering energy and carbon emissions takes into account householders’ motivations for retrofit, their priorities and preferences as well as factors like comfort, health and indoor air quality.

The report produced has been used by hundreds of Carbon Co-op members over the years in their decision making. It is currently being used by Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAFS) to deliver assessments in their area and we have plans to share it with other community energy organisations across the UK.

This webinar will give an introduction to the development of the tool, its key functions and benefits of the user centred approach it takes.
