DESCRIPTION:Essential skills for retrofitting energy efficiency improvements in homes\nAlso suitable for householders\nIncreased awareness and press coverage means there is a growing demand for eco-renovation measures from householders but a dearth of contractors in Greater Manchester to meet demand.\nYou may have experience of insulation installations or low carbon M&E works and want to extend your services to meet this demand. Or you may want to underpin practical knowledge with theory.\nPeople Powered Retrofit* is running this subsidised\, high quality\, two-day training session for small-scale building firms\, contractors and sole traders. Nick is lead tutor on the Eco-Refurbishment course at the Centre for Alternative Technology.
