SUMMARY:Community Outreach & Engagement: Community Retrofit Approaches
DESCRIPTION:Community-led Approaches to Retrofit – knowledge sharing webinars  – Community Outreach & Engagement\n\n\nIn this session we will examine models and tools to assist community outreach and engagement to support energy efficiency and retrofit programmes and projects. We’ll look at how Community Energy groups can benefit from word of mouth recommendations or engage in more structured approaches  such as Community Based Social Marketing.  \nIn a series of lunchtime hour-long webinars\, three leading Community Energy organisations explore emerging models and best practice for the delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency projects.  \nFunded by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust\, SELCE\, BHESCo and Carbon Co-op have engaged in a 12 months knowledge sharing and research project to identify successful models for retrofit across different tenures and approaches.  \nFree to attend\, each session will address a different theme and be led by one of the partners. Suitable for staff\, board or members of Community Energy groups as well as other stakeholders such as local authorities\, retrofit practitioners\, academics and researchers.  \nAll webinars take place at 1pm and last one hour.
