Reducing Household Energy: Together We Can!

Do you live in the Broughton or East Salford? Would you like to reduce your make savings in home energy bills, improve the comfort of your home and help the environment? As part of the Irwell Valley Sustainable Communities Project, Carbon Co-op is offering a free package of help and advice to ten Community Champions in East Salford.

WANTED: Community Energy Champions
We’re looking for Community Energy Champions in East Salford, owner occupiers or renters, to act as advocates for energy efficiency and to benefit from a range of services.

If you sign up you will receive:

  • An in depth whole house energy assessment

  • A costed list of recommended measures to reduce your energy usage

  • A printed report on the findings and recommendations of the assessment

  • A session with an energy expert to feedback on the assessment

  • Signposting to organisations and funding to help you install recommended measures

 

As a Community Energy Champion, you will provide:

  • A hour or two with our assessor to show them around your home

  • An undertaking to share your report findings with friends and neighbours

  • Invite friends and neighbours to the session with the energy expert
