We’re a community benefit cooperative, meaning our staff play a key role in a values-driven and purposeful team. You will have lots of freedom to shape your work, evolve your role and grow through a peer review management process. Staff members also have a voice in how the co-operative moves forward. Employee Benefits
Holidays and Christmas Shutdown – We offer a generous base holiday package of 30 days (including five bank holidays), so you can choose when you take time off. On top of that we have a Christmas shutdown, so everyone has time to rest and recharge before the new year. Each person manages their own time off and your holidays only have to be discussed with your immediate team.
Climate Perks – We support our employees to make climate positive choices, so if you choose to ditch a flight in place of train, boat or travel by electric vehicle, we’ll give you up to two extra days off each year to cover the additional travel time.
Flexible Working – We encourage everyone to work in the way they feel most comfortable, for some that’ll be office based and for others it might be hybrid or remote working. We have a great office and plenty of free tea and coffee for staff members.

Cycle to Work Scheme – We’re a bike mad office, and we’ve chosen a cycle scheme that reflects that. There are no financial limits on our scheme, so whether you want a hybrid mile muncher, a carbon speedster or an electric cargo bike for the whole family, our scheme will get you sorted. Your bike maintenance, covered – We’ll cover the labour cost of keeping your bike regularly maintained, all you need to pay for is parts.

Once approved, monthly leasing costs are paid directly from your salary, so you save on tax while ditching fossil fuels.

We love feedback from our team members about the things that are important to them, so if you’ve got a suggestion just let us know. Currently we’re considering a partnership with our sister organisation, People Powered Retrofit, so staff can access discounted advice on how best to make their home cosier and more energy efficient. We’re also looking at the great stuff that Ripple Energy are doing with their wind farm cooperatives, watch this space!
