We spend 90% of our lives inside buildings (probably 95% now, due to the pandemic) and yet the indoor air quality is often poor. As building professionals and homeowners we continue to improve the airtightness of our buildings, however, we need to ensure that the quality of indoor air is maintained for our health and well being.
Ventilation systems are key to designing and building healthy homes. We are pleased to be working with The Green Register and Aereco to bring you two online sessions that will support architects, designers, installers and interested householders who want to make sure they get ventilation right.
This video from the UK Centre for Moisture in Buildings is a great introduction to the topic:
Some of the key topics covered include understanding how to calculate ventilation extract rates, how occupancy affects sizing and efficiency of ventilation systems, how to assess and select the correct ventilation system for your project, and more… For course content in detail and to book click links below:
If you can’t make these sessions, we will be running the course again later this year.
